Nelly Furtado- Bigger Hoops : This is the first single from Nelly's first english cd in 6 years. The follow up to her hugely successful Loose The Spirit Indestructible is set to drop in Sept. Welcome back Nelly !

Dragonette- Let It Go : Here's the first single from their upcoming third cd release set to hit the shelves this summer. Good timing fresh off their Juno win just last month.

Maroon 5- Payphone : Overexposed is the forthcoming cd release from the Moves Like Jagger hitmakers. June 26th is the release day for the band's 4th cd release. Is summer coming ?

Usher- Scream : And yet another hot new summer release this time from Mr Usher. Looking 4 Myself will drop on June 12th. If you were wondering if this single does that Usher signature drop at the first of it, well it does & it's awesome as always.

Pitbull- Back In Time: This one is off the Men In Black 3 O.S.T. The movie will be hitting theatres on May 25th ten years after the sequel. I hope Tommy Lee Jones has been doing his push ups !

Carly Rae Jepsen- Curiosity : This is the title track from the former Canadain Idol's new 6 song EP. The last few months have been exciting for the Mission BC native as Justin Bieber & his gal pal Selena Gomez have been tweeting their admiration. Jepsen has since signed with Interscope Records which is run by the one & only Jimmy Iovine. Welcome to the big time Carly Rae !

Nicki Minaj- Starships : Born Onika Tanya Maraj the 29 year old New York rapper is one of the most sought after artist's in the pop world today. After releasing a series of mix tapes between 2007 & 2009 she released her debut cd Pink Friday late 2010. This track is the first single from her new cd Pink Friday : Roman Reloaded. She's also teamed up with Kanye West. David Guetta & Drake on recent collaborations. Looks like Ms Minaj is here to stay.

Jennifer Lopez- Dance again : How do you revive a sagging pop music careeer ? become a judge on American Idol. J Lo has definitely proven her worth on Idol & has made everyone forget about Paula who ? this is the second hit single since her Idol comeback. Welcome back to makin hits J Lo

Taylor Swift- Eyes Open : This one has the young star giving The Hunger Games even more push with a song from it's original soundtrack. As if it couldn't get any bigger. Look for this film to be one of the biggest of 2012.

Flo Rida/F.Sia- Wild Ones : Look for this to be another big hit for the Flo one. It's going to be featured on his upcoming cd Only One Rida Part 2 due out in July .

Justin Bieber- Boyfriend : Believe is the third studio release from this young canadian superstar & like him or not it looks like he's here to stay- at least for now. 60 % of the time it works every time. The song is the second-highest-ever digital debut in the United States.

Kristina Maria- Our Song Comes On : This 22 year old Ottawa native has just released her debut full length cd Tell The World. The first single picks up where she left off on Just Play.

Karmin- Broken Hearted : This american romantically involved duo gained fame by doing cover songs of other pop artist's like Chris Brown & LMFAO but now are making a name for themselves with their own work. Hello is their debut cd dropping in May

Gotye- Somebody That I Used To Know : This Belgian born/Austrailian singer was born Wouter De Backer and after years as an indie artist has had the break through he's been dreaming of with this track. Pronounced Gauhtier, his voice has been compared to Sting & Peter Gabriel amongst others. Pretty good company. The second single from his 2011 release Making Mirrors is definitely one of the more interesting tunes to emerge from the first quarter of 2012.

Selena Gomez & The Scene- Hit The Lights : Despite announcing earlier this year that she was splitting from the scene Ms Gomez/Bieber continues to score big with their latest cd When The Sun Goes Down.

Calvin Harris- Feel So Close: This scottish dj, singer/producer became famous with Rihanna earlier this year with their hit We Found Love. The 28 year old born Adam Richard Wiles now has his own hit on his hands from his third studio album which is a work in progress.

Victoria Duffield- Feel : The follow up to Shut Up & Dance continues with the trademark dance beats we've come to know & love from the 17 year old resident of Abbotsford British Columbia. I wonder if Chris Grant will love this one as much as the last single ?

Three new tunes this week.

Adele- Rumor Hasi It : The 4th & final single from the biggest album in the world 21. One Republic's Ryan Tedder is all over this one too = Great Success !

Drake Ft Rihanna- Take Care : I'm not sure why Rihanna & Drake just don't get together as a couple. Would be much better than Chris Brown & they could write lots of duets together. This one is off of Canadian boy Drake's cd Take Care.

Fun- We Are The Young : Off their cd Some Nights- Their name suggests their sound. They are a fun listen

David Guetta/Nicki Minaj- Turn Me On : This the third single from Guetta's fifth studio release Nothing But The Beat. This is the second tune from this cd that has featured the unmistakable vocal stylings of Ms Minaj. The first one being Where Them Girls At. If you're thinking of being a pop star you may want to search out Mr Guetta's number- that is if he'll take your call.

K'Naan/Nelly Furtado- Is Anybody Out There : More Beautiful Than Silence is the 2012 5 song EP from one of Canada's most brilliant artist's. Since his awesome 2009 effort Trobadour the Somalian born rapper has been hanging out with all kinds of famous folks including U2's Bono as the pair pushed for more aid to Somalia. Train- Drive By : This is the lead off single from Train's yet unnamed upcoming release. According to band frontman Pat Monahan the album should be expected in April so this one will have to hold you over til then.

Colbie Caillat- Brighter Than The Sun : The second single from Caillat's third cd release All Of You. This track was co-written by Colbie & One Republic frontman Ryan Tedder = guaranteed success. It's been a big one on our Seacrest countdown & now has a regular home here on the Max airwaves.

Jordan Knight- One More Night : This is another single from Jordan's 3rd solo effort Unfinished released back in May of last year. Of course Jordan is most famous as being a member of New KIds On The Block. Remember them ? here's a flashback.
