Miss Utah got a little tongue tied the other day at the Miss USA contest. Marissa Powell was asked about unfair pay between men and women in the workplace. She didn't really understand the question and got tongue tied.

New Alarm Clock

Rich Olson has created a new alarm clock that shreds your money if you don't wake up! He's a US inventor and he combined a clock with a shredder. He says he's not worried that he might be comitting a federal offense by destroying money. But I would think if you had an alarm clock like this, you wouldn't be waiting too long to jump out of bed if your money is on the line!

This was a pretty epic moment at the Green Day Concert at Emirates Stadium. The crowd decided to sing along to Queen's Bohemian Rhapsody which was playing as the house music, as they waited for Green Day to hit the stage! Freddie would be proud!

The Amazing Story of Zach Sobiech

Posted By: Kirk Davidson · 5/23/2013 1:48:00 PM

This is the amazing story of Zach Sobiech. He was diagnosed with a rare form of terminal cancer when he was only 14. He decided he needed to do a few things before the big "C" took him, so he became a rock star, and millions of people got to see his music before he passed away just the other day, May 20th, 2013. This is his amazing story!

You never know when you are going to leave this world, so live it to the fullest! We've all known someone who has lost the battle, is struggling with cancer as we speak, or has faught and survived. This is a great way to remember that we might have it a lot easier than other people out there.

1000 Dollar Tip!

Posted By: Kirk Davidson · 5/21/2013 12:45:00 PM

On Sunday, a woman posted a photo online of a receipt from the restaurant where she and her mother both work as waitresses. Her mother had been telling a customer about how her family is from Italy but that her daughter had never been. This restores my faith in humanity! The customer left her a $1,000 tip on a $60.42 bill. The receipt said "Here is your ticket to Italy. Enjoy" How is that for your feel good story of the day?

Well that didn't take long! There is already a few counterfeit 100 dollar bills floating around Canada!

Police is New Westminster BC are warning the public about a counterfeit bill that has been circulating the area.

According to the police, seven bills have been found in the city in two different incidents.

Anyone who is concerned about whether or not their bills are valid, should bring it to your local bank to have it checked.

The new plastic bills launched back in November of 2011 with a promise that they would be more difficult to counterfiet than the older paper bills. Turns out that's not entirely true now!

The only difference between the new polymer bills and the counterfeit bills, are the "raised ink, a transparent strip containing metallic images that changes color when you tilt the bill, transparent text and a frosted maple leaf on the top of the ...

Kitchen Nightmares

Maybe you've heard of Gordan Ramsay before, and his show Kitchen Nightmares. If you've seen it, you probably know how upfront Ramsay can be on the show. But he was no match for Amy Bouzaglo on this episode of Kitchen Nightmares. In fact, after the show aired, the restaurant started to get some negative feedback on their Facebook page. So the owners took to the fan page and started bashing their customers (and now claiming that they were hacked and didn't post those messages themselves).

Ramsay has never walked away from a challenge at a restaurant, but I think this time, he met his match.

Amy's Baking Company in Scottsdale, Arizona has the philosophy, "The customer is not always right." Actually, the customer is never right in her eyes! She fired an employee, for asking a question, and won't take any sort of criticism. Check out some of these Facebook ...

Ground Control To Major Tom

Canadian astronaut Chris Hadfield is saying goodbye to the International Space Station later tonight. Before his departure, he released a neat music video and it really captures the breathtaking views that he's been soaking in the past 146 days.

Chris decided to rewrite some of the lyrics to David Bowie's "Space Oddity" while he plays guitar and floats around the ISS in "a most peculiar way".

He had a little help with the production though. On a YouTube post he thanked Canadian musician Emm Gryner, his son Evan, music producer Joe Corcoran and TV producer Andrew Tidby for their hard work.

Chris is expected to leave the space station just after 8pm tonight, and he should land in Kazakhstan around 11:30pm tonight. He has been in space since Dec 19th 2012.

Huggies TweetPee

I'm not sure why you would want to tweet about this, but tech savvy parents might find it cool.  Huggies Brazil has launched a new product called TweetPee. It attaches to a baby's diaper and then sends a Tweet to its parents or caregiver when the diaper becomes wet. Parents can also reorder diapers through TweetPee. Is this something you would use?
