That's right- in my neighbourhood it's special spring collection which means you can throw out any crap you want.  It's awesome just to unload all the stuff in the garage & basement that you don't want.  Then people come by in trucks & take it off your lawn & it's not stealing because you want them to take it so everybody is happy.  As long as the're not lurking around my house after the garbage is gone i'm ok with it.  A shout out to all those working the special collections today that have to deal with chucking all that stuff. 

It's official. Just want to thank Art Ward & everyone that came out & supported our efforts to raise funds for the Perth Andover Flood relief on Friday night at the KC Centre. Over 21 hundred dollars weare raised.  A special thanks to Tara Winzar for all her efforts with the cause.  The crowd was very well behaved & even clapped for me which I greatly appreciated.  Was great meeting some new folks as well !  Here's a clip from my performance of Pink Floyd's Wish You Were Here.

So it was the end of the road for Hollie Cavanaugh last night on american Idol.  No surprise.  I think she went as far as she could take it and the final three are amongst the best top 3 I've ever witnessed on the show.  I'm predicting a Jessica/Joshua showdown but the ladies sure seem to like Phil Phillips so watch out for the upset with the female vote.  Here's a tribute to 4th place finisher Hollie singing the Gordie Sampson penned Jesus Take The Wheel made famous by Idol winner Carrie Underwood.
