Village Historique Acadien Launches Summer Dinner Theatre
7/9/2012
The Village Historique Acadien launched its season of dinner theatre shows at the Château Albert hotel last night. Jean-Éric and Christian Paulin kicked off the season with their concert of French-Canadian and Acadian songs.
The Paulin brothers will present their show throughout the summer at the Château Albert, alternating with other musical groups, including the one composed of Léonide Albert, young singer Lucille Doiron, and virtuoso accordionist Roger Lanteigne, who will deliver a traditional repertoire.
Storyteller Dominique Breau is back with his show, Y contons ça! (so they say!). So are the trio of Nicolas Basque, Élizabeth Milot, and Justin Doucet, who will guide listeners through the major points of Acadian musical history.
A total of six groups will take the stage at the hotel this season.
The dinner theatre shows continue until Aug. 24. Each show starts at 7 p.m.
