It's a royal salute for a local Senior Goodwill Ambassador. Florence Roussy is a living legend in Bathurst. Her name is synonymous with volunteer work, leadership and compassion. Roussy has received the Queen Elizabeth 2 Diamond Jubilee Award for a lifetime of going above and beyond the line of duty. All three levels of government and her family were present when she was recognized yesterday at the Chaleur Regional Hospital. She humbly accepted the honour and said she couldn't achieve anything without help from the community.
