Provincial Government Aircraft Raising Eyebrows

"It's a luxory taxpayers can't afford"

8/18/2012

They're calling it the ``gravy plane.''     The Canadian Taxpayers' Federation is calling on the New Brunswick government to sell its plane.     The federation says a government aircraft is a luxury taxpayers can't afford in times of economic restraint.     It points out that other provinces have already grounded their planes. The twin engine turboprop costs $1500 per hour to operate.
