The RCMP are asking for public help in solving a case of aggravated assault that occurred near Fredericton nearly two months ago.
Police say officers responded to an incident at a home on Route 105 in Maugerville on May 23.    
The Mounties say a man answered a knock at his door at around 10:30 p.m. and was immediately struck in the head with a brick and assaulted.    
The blow rendered the man unconscious for a short time.    
Police say the assailant or assailants had fled by the time the victim regained his senses.    
He was treated in hospital for minor injuries.
