RCMP in northern New Brunswick have laid charges in connection with the alleged sexual assault of a 73-year-old woman.

Police allege the woman was assaulted by a masked man who broke into her home yesterday morning in Saint-Quentin.

They say the intruder fled on a bicycle.   The victim was taken to hospital and later released.

Police say the suspect, 27-year-old Camil Bujold of Saint-Quentin, is charged with break and enter, sexual assault and wearing a mask during the commission of an offence.
